Uniform and Patch Guide
Troop 245 has two Boy Scout Uniforms:
Class
A Uniform The Class A uniform has these parts:
- Boy Scout official tan uniform shirt with green shoulder tabs
- Troop neckerchief
- Boy Scout official neckerchief slide or one you made yourself
- Boy Scout official olive green shorts or pants
- Boy Scout official web belt with brass buckle
- Boy Scout official socks
- Leather hiking shoes
Class B Uniform
The Class B uniform has these parts:
- Boy Scout red activity shirt or Troop tee shirt
- Boy Scout shorts or pants, or other shorts or pants appropriate to the activity
- Boy Scout belt or other belt
- Boy Scout socks or hiking socks
- Hiking shoes
Uniform
Hints We know that Scout pants and shorts are expensive.You can borrow them for Boards of Review.They are required for your Eagle Board of Review. Follow the patch placement guides.If you make the patches touch they are easier to line up.Don't use glue or iron the patches on - that makes it hard to change patches Take your time and sew them carefully by hand or using a sewing machine.We encourage you to donate your too-small uniform to the Troop for another Scout to wear.
