Troop 245 Scouts will help Scouts from different Troops earn Merit Badges, Rank Advancements, and participate with different events! We need a great turn out from Scouts to make this successful!
Annual Veteran's Dinner held at the Elks Lodge to honor our veterans. Help serve as Color guard and clean up crew. Earn service hours. your Scout is going or wants to go and you don't have that information Mr. Villanueva can provide it. Scouts needs to be dressed in full class A uniforms with long pants. Greeks pizza will be provided for them and they will earn service hours for participating.
Please check your Scout/Adult Account balances and make sure they have a positive balance! It's important to keep balances positive to help the Troop run more smoothly. Dues of $40 will be added to Scout Accounts in December. You can check balances in Scoutbook: https://scoutbook.scouting.org/ Click on your Scout's name > Scout's Name Payments Log. A list of all transactions is available in Scoutbook. The Troop accepts cash, check payable to BSA Troop 245, Zelle, and Venmo (QR codes are attached).
This is a day to help support Mt Auburn. The Church typically has projects at about 2 congregant homes. Tasks usually include raking leaves, cleaning gutters, and trimming bushes.
We will be having the lock on Dec 12 to the 13th. Arrival will be Friday 7:00 PM and pick up is 7:00 AM on Saturday. Please arrive in your scout uniforms and bring any sleeping equipment you want, but most people do not end up sleeping in the first place. Bring personal medication as well as toiletries. You can also bring a video game console or system to play on while we are there. Snacks are also allowed, but the mess will need to be cleaned up.
