Please check your Scout/Adult Account balances and make sure they have a positive balance!  It's important to keep balances positive to help the Troop run more smoothly.  Dues of $40 will be added to Scout Accounts in December.  You can check balances in Scoutbook: https://scoutbook.scouting.org/ Click on your Scout's name > Scout's Name Payments Log.  A list of all transactions is available in Scoutbook.  The Troop accepts cash, check payable to BSA Troop 245, Zelle, and Venmo (QR codes are attached). 

Now is the time to renew your membership (most memberships expire 12/31/25). You should receive an email with a link from Scouting America to renew your annual membership.  This link will take you to the My.Scouting.org login page, once there, enter your username and password and then click on the red notification icon on top right side of the screen and follow the steps to renew. If you do not remember your login information, simply click the "forgot username/password" option and follow the steps and then once reset login to renew. 

Pack 601 will be having their Pinewood Derby on 1/23/26 at St Francis. Scouts will be there from 5:30-8:30.

Packs 245, 545, 824 will be having their Pinewood Derby on 1/31/26 at Mt Auburn. Scouts will be there from 8am-12 pm

Where: Indianapolis Airport

Come camp at the Indianapolis Airport and work on Aviation Merit Badge at the Spring Camporee.

Participation is limited for this event. Registration will close December 22, 2025.

This will be our winter tent camping experience. Scouts will be working on snow sports merit badge as well as have the opportunity to ski.

This will be a more costly campout, due to the cost of lift tickets, etc.

Scouts need to bring a snack, drink, or dessert to share!  Please let us know by Wednesday if you plan on attending!  

Be here by 7:00 pm and pick up be at 7:00 AM on Saturday.
