Limit activity to Door 3

When going in and out of the church please make sure to only use door 3 (our current access point), and please do not cut through or hang out anywhere else in the building (including the downstairs foyer areas).  Our presence needs to still be limited to the upstairs rooms.  Help be good partners with the group that has been cotinually gracious with us. 

Peace light coming to Mt. Auburn soon

Elks Veterans Dinner

The Elks Lodge in Franklin is once again hosting the Veteran's Day dinner on Saturday 11/6 and have asked our Troop to participate.  Many of the older boys did this in the past and had a blast.  Scouts will be doing an opening and closing flag ceremony, helping to greet guests and busing tables when people are done eating.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.  Event goes from 6-9 p.m. and is eligible for service hours.  A signup sheet will continue to be at the regular meetings.  Anyone who has questions or would like to participate can also call Mr. Villanueva.

Wreath Sales going on now

Wreath sales packets are still available for those who want to participate.  All sales are due by 11/1.  The level of profit a scout retains for sales increases as his total number of sales does.  Packet requests and questions can be directed to Mrs. Smith.

Reid Smith work day on 10/31

Reid Smith is having an Eagle project work day on 10/31 from 11:30 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m. Participants will be helping to pour concrete and stain a wooden pergola frame.  Safety items like gloves and goggles should be brought it you have them.  Contact Reid for more specifics.  

BCC AOL crossover campout this weekend

This weekend we will be hosting the AOLs who are going to be crossing over into our troop .  Please make sure to bring your mess kits, as disposible items are for the AOLs and any adults.  Please be at the shelter house at 6:30 p.m. with your gear and ready to help load the trailer.  Plans are to leave the church at 7:00 p.m. and we will be back on Sunday around 11:00 a.m.
